Other information (optional): Sally came to WSAR two months ago and has now been fully assessed. She’s a very affectionate girl, who loves human company. She is typical of the breed which needs challenging mentally and physically. Unfortunately she does occasionally “nip” at ankles when she gets over excited so she will need an experienced dog owner who is prepared to work on this type of behaviour as well as continuing with her basic training. Sally REALLY enjoys the outdoors; in fact she’s out at first light and won’t come back in until it’s dark so she will need a new home with people who lead an active outdoors lifestyle. She would probably be well suited to farm life or something similar where her natural instincts and ability can be used to their full potential. Based on her nice nature we think she has the potential to make a great working dog as she loves to round the chickens up but doesn’t chase them. Sally must go to rural home with a securely fenced garden minimum height 6ft with lots of space for her to play, her favourite toy is her Frisbee which she never tires of playing with. Other than the “nip” issues she has not shown any other form of aggression towards people or animals. As you can see she’s fine with cats and dogs. She's also fine around pigs, chickens and rabbits.
