We know we are not meant to have favourites and they are all special and they are but some just edge into our hearts just that bit more and this girl is one of them! She is Special with a capital ‘S’!
Pepsi has lived at the shelter since she was a small puppy with her siblings. They were all found dumped at a recycling plant. We have actually rehomed two of her siblings who have both settled down really well and have lovely natures.
When Pepsi leaves the shelter she is scared of the world outside, but she looks to her humans for encouragement and keeps wagging that tail of hers. She is a very loving dog with a big heart. We introduced her to new dogs not in her little pack. She came out to see them as soon as she spotted them and went down on her stomach sliding up to them licking then around their muzzles. She is very submissive and very sweet. She has no problems or issues with people or dogs and like her siblings she has a wonderful nature.
She will need time and patience while she gets used to living in a house, travelling in a car and comes to terms with the world outside the shelter. She will adjust quickly as she so wants to please.
Pepsi would probably be helped by living with another laid back and confident dog (not a dominant dog) in a home that can offer her time, patience and encouragement. A home that will delight in watching her blossom in her own time.
Video of Pepsi ... she is not the one chasing the ball:
Pepsi has been spayed, fully vaccinated and is micro-chipped.
