Homing Requirements: Sherlock needs a terrier family whose instincts are to offer him an active life style but ensure his safety with extender lead exercise in open spaces and short lead around roads. A secure 6' terrier proof garden and exit management with front door and back gate care are also required. Sherlock is good meeting dogs but quite aloof in his stance - ever the terrier. Easy to handle.

His Story: Sherlock was found stray, unchipped and unclaimed. Sherlock is now neutered and vax'd. He will be chipped. Currently in kennels near Guildford, Surrey.
Advert: Sherlock is a smart, attractive and super duper terrier. He meets dog well, aware of all on his walk but his focus is surveillance & exploration so dogs are met nose to nose and he moves on. He does respond to voice but gives the air on his walk that he would walk off into the sunset if not restrained on a lead. Sherlock has yet to be assessed in a home settling as he is a new arrival.
Sherlock is a Patterdale Terrier X with a brindle wire coat and a white blaze on his chest. He is around 17" to the shoulder so taller than a Patterdale, but smaller than an Irish terrier. Sherlock is looking for his Holme(s)! We are on the case.
Please note that this dog is currently in boarding kennels and is also available for foster until a 'forever' home is found.
