Oh this one is a really lovable little bundle of mischief! Leena is a very bright little girl who seems to be learning very quickly and is good at working things out. This is good from the perspective of puppy training, but the downside is she is learning how to overcome obstacles put in her way for her safety and also good at getting herself in to trouble and sticky situations! Leena is a confident pup who is quite happy to lead the way when the litter are trying new things.

Toilet training is coming along. Leena has been quick to grasp the idea of the puppy pad although she doesn't use it every time but has toileted outside the house as well. As with all puppies, she will need training in all areas and her adoptive family will need to be committed to this. Leena needs full puppy training from scratch, she is a very young pup and needs patience and dedication.

Leena needs to be adopted by a family with puppy training experience who would ideally take her to puppy training classes. Her adoptive family should either have experience of the breed types that are crossed in Leena or be prepared to research this, She is a high energy dog who ideally would have a family who could keep up playing with her to keep her busy and be able to reign in her energy eventually!

Leena is very sociable with adults and likes to be held by children but needs adult supervision as still play bites and has sharp claws. She hasn’t been tested in a car yet and hasn’t visited the vets yet. Leena is a puppy who is happy to be touched. She isn’t dominant over her toys or food and shows no aggressive tendencies.

Like all puppies she needs to chew so slippers, shoes and the like need to be kept out of reach. Leena likes to rip up paper! She is too small to jump fences yet but care must be taken that she doesn’t slip through all holes in fencing.

Leena has been crated with her siblings at night and has been left in the crate while for up to 2 hours during the day. She is friendly with her siblings and the resident dogs in her foster home. She hasn’t met any cats yet but is young enough to learn with careful introductions.

If you are looking for an energetic lifetime companion for long walks and waggy tails, prepared to put in patient training and have lots of love to give, Leena could be the girl for you. As she is very young she will need a family who will not need to leave her for long periods in the day and who understand the trials and rewards of owning a lovable, energetic and mischievous puppy.

It is a condition of Adoption that Leena is taken to puppy training classes. In addition to this it is also the responsibility of the adopter to have Leena neutered at six months of age. Leena will only be homed where someone is at home most of the day.

Leena has had her first vaccination but is not yet microchipped. The cost of the second vaccination and the microchip will be the responsibility of the Adopter if she is adopted before. As with all puppies it is a requirement of adoption that all puppies will be neutered at 6 months at your expense. A voucher will be given at the time of adoption for a refund of £40 when she is neutered

Prospective adopters will be expected to travel to meet her in her foster home in Hampshire.
