Other information (optional):
Boyo the Cocker Spaniel
Boyo is approx 7.
He is a black Cocker Spaniel who is a real delight. He is affectionate, fun and loving. Boyo loves attention no doubt due to his history, as explained below.
A typical spaniel, active and playful so an outgoing family home would be ideal for him, or someone who will train and play with him or take him for long walks etc.
Good with other dogs, cats, children, travels in car but is excitable at first,
Knows sit, paw, down but maybe even be suited to some agility as he was taught some when he was younger, including ladders, along thin planks etc. Crate and house trained.

This boy has had a checkered past and several homes! He was bred in Wales, moved to Ireland, then to England and now back in Wales.
He has done some field training, agility, used as a stud for 2 litters, lived in outdoor kennels but back in a home as a pet for last 18mths.
He has come back to his original breeder who was contacted by the family of his last owner, an elderly gent with Alzheimers. Sadly, due to his illness, he is no longer able to continue to care for Boyo so he has been returned back to the breeder for rehoming, who asked us to help.
Boyo is very friendly and sweet, thankfully showing no side-effects from his many moves or changes. He is now in desperate need for consistency in a secure and settled home.
He has not been neutered as yet but will be at the soonest opportunity! Due to this, he is an escape artist! A very secure garden with tall fence is essential to stop this wandering streak.
Having lived in quieter, rural areas, when he has lived or visited other houses with passing people or traffic, he will bark at the noise, otherwise he is generally a quiet dog.

Boyo is currently near Cardiff but can be fostered in Wales/England border or adopted UK wide.
Please contact Paws 4 Rescue UK via facebook or email: paws4rescueuk@aol.co.uk
Application form and home visit will be required to all potential foster and adoption homes.
