Homing Requirements: Jangles needs a family who can invest time in him through activity and with support of his natural terrier tendencies. Jangles needs a secure garden and an exit management strategy. Jangles can be left and has lived with an elderly Shepherd and hutched small furries for 6 months. He needs to live in a low dog density area.
His Story: Jangles initially lived with young kids and was kept in a back garden on a lead; then taken on by an elderly couple who advertised him and he went to live with an elderly Shepherd and a teenager family in May 2013. This family chipped, neutered and vax'd him. Jangles was a tad too terrier! Currently in boarding kennels near Godstone, Surrey.
Advert: Jangles is a lovely character. He lived with an elderly Shepherd and adapted to accompany his owner in his gardening business, tethered. Jangles needs to gain confidence in formal walks; not to come off an extender lead and to be supported when meeting other dogs outside through parallel walking. He likes his space when bedded down. Housetrained and delights in playing in a secure terrier proof garden.
Jangles is a wire haired Black Fell Terrier/Patterdale and 2 years old. He enjoys his walks on a flexi lead. Jangles is the real Patterdale McCoy but has never been worked and has had a restricted life and socialisation. He needs people who get terriers and get him as a Fell terrier in their midst and value him for his affectionate nature!
Please note that this is dog is currently in boarding kennels and available for foster until a ‘permanent’ home is found. [/b]
